This community campsite cannot be booked in advance. Enjoy the vast open spaces of this landscape which is characterised by ochre coloured boulders and wide gravel plains.

Aba Huab community is located in a dry river bed and close to the game trails of the desert elephant which you may be lucky enough to see. Facilities include a variety of different campsites situated along the banks of the dry Aba Huab river, this river can flow during the rainy season! Sites may vary but most have fireplaces (no grills), tables, benches and water taps.

Ablution blocks with flushing toilets and hot & cold showers are provided. ‘A’ Frame thatched shelters are also provided suitable for campers looking for a little extra shade. A bar serves cool drinks and snacks and a laundry service is usually available. Local guides can be hired to show guests around the Twyfelfontein area.
