Day 1: Sunset over the city

Windhoek

Land at Windhoek International Airport today where you will be met by a transfer driver holding a sign in the arrivals hall. He will then escort you to the city centre.

Villa Vista is an upmarket accommodation establishment situated in a quiet neighbourhood, close to Windhoek city centre. Being well situated makes it a true home hidden in the big city. Day 2-4: Home to Pangolins

Mundulea Nature Reserve

Mundulea Private Nature Reserve in the Otavi mountains is roughly 120 square kilometres of prime Montane bush set in the unspoiled Karstveld south east of Otavi. It is perfectly positioned as the first or final destination of a Namibian holiday: not far from the main B1, about two hours’ drive from Etosha’s Namutoni Gate. Walking and hiking in this beautifully lush mountain landscape offers the ideal opportunity to get out of your vehicle and into the bush. Day 5-6: Spectacular wildlife

Etosha National Park

There are 13 chalets and 1 family room, attractively built out of brick, rock and thatch. Each chalet has an en-suite bathroom with flush toilet, bath, indoor and outdoor shower and double hand basins. There is air-conditioning, overhead fans, mosquito nets fitted to the windows, a tea/coffee station and an in-room safe. The rooms have glass fronted doors which lead out onto a private, covered verandah, overlooking the bush.

Ongava Lodge is situated on the 35,000 hectare Ongava Private Game Reserve. It shares a common border with one of Africa’s largest game parks, Etosha National Park, Namibia’s premier game viewing destination. Dinner and Breakfast included.

Day 7-8: Close encounters

Kunene region

The eight tented chalets ensure that guests can relax and unwind in comfort, and make the most of this amazing landscape. Each tent has an en-suite bathroom, luggage rack, mosquito net, fan, safe and tea/ coffee making facilities.  The camp is run in an environmentally friendly way and guests are encouraged to save water wherever possible. The maximum number of guests is 16 which makes for an intimate and friendly atmosphere. Dinner and breakfast included.

Day 9-10: Bird life wonderful

Erongo Mountains

The chalets, raised on stilts and connected by raised wooden walkways and natural stone steps, are in harmony with their surroundings. They each have a broad, shaded deck, and an indulgent bathroom built around the existing rocks and trees. Inside, each spacious tent is a haven of thoughtful comfort and casual luxury with billowing curtains, tasteful wooden furniture and stunning views out across the boulder strewn landscape. Guided walks are included in the room rate, guests can choose from a longer, early morning walk, a shorter morning walk which leaves an hour later, and a sundown walk which leads up to an amazing viewpoint.
