After a night in the capital city begin your journey south into the spectacular mountains of the Namib Naukluft National Park. Pause here to explore some of the highest free-standing sand dunes in the world and watch as the red dunes roll out before you. Continue west to the coastal town of Swakopmund; its colourful Germanic buildings are an architectural throw-back to colonial times. Get your adrenaline pumping amongst the dunes with an optional sky-dive, sand-board or quad-bike, or take a relaxing kayak or boat cruise to explore the diverse coastal wildlife. Return to the capital city to catch up on some souvenir shopping, or sample some of the local restaurants before catching your onward flight home.
