Summary

Role: Tour Consultant

Born and raised in the beating heart of Namibia, Windhoek. Always loved the outdoors when I was younger so when I finally started earning my own money, my friends and I hit the road as much as we could afford to.

How did you get into tourism – I impulsively quit my Corporate job in 2017, a week after my resignation, a friend of mine sent me an ad for the Cardboard Box Travel Shop, I haven’t looked back since.

Your must-have travel items – Camera, sunscreen, hat and a big water bottle.

Why should people visit Namibia – With our breath taking landscapes you will get a much needed escape from the everyday hustle and bustle. Not to mention, Namibians are one of the friendliest and most interesting people you’ll meet.

Your fondest client memory/ or a funny experience you’ve had working in tourism – Had a walk-in client, and after assisting her with booking the trip she said that she wanted to give me something. I thought it would be a tip so I protested against it, only for her to pull out a pamphlet for her charity. I was quite embarrassed to say the least but still laugh about it to this day.
