Role: Guest Liaison and Administration Assistant

I am proud to call Namibia my home and birthplace.  Reading a book in the quiet afternoon sun, with nothing but the wild expanses or magnificent mountains around you, is one of my favourite hobbies.  Sharing in the delightful colours of a sunset with friends is the best feeling in the world.

Manuel is the newest edition to the ATI Fam, having joined in February 2020.

Would You Rather Have Skin That Changes Color Based on Your Emotions or Tattoos Appear All Over Your Body Depicting What You Did Yesterday?

I would prefer the skin changing abilities because how funny would it be if you are drunk and your skin is a literal disco light.  Also, the panicked expressions on people’s faces would be rather delightful.

If You Could Only Eat One Food for The Rest of Your Life, What Would It Be?

I would eat salad for the rest of my life.  There are so many things I can do.  Want pizza – make a pizza salad, noddle salad, steak salad.  The possibilities are endless.

If You Got Stuck in An Elevator and Were Forced to Listen to Only One Song, What Would It Be?

The one song I would be able to jam to for that long would have to be, P!nk – So What.

Why should people visit Namibia?

People should visit Namibia because we have such a variety of ecosystems.  In the north we have our mopane forests, and the south is such an alien desert landscape.  The wildlife is actually still wild, and their proud, majestic looks are something to marvel at for ages to come.

What is your favourite Namibian destination and why?

Though I have only been to the Felsbogen once in my life, it is a experience, which will stay with you for a lifetime.  It is simple indescribable.  The raw power of elements to have formed such a phenomenon, it is breath-taking.  The wind in Lüderitz adds to the ambience.  Simply a beautiful, stormy haven for those who seek to connect with nature and be reminded of her awesome power.
