Zuurberg Mountain Village

The Zuurberg Mountain Village is a historic 1861 country hotel bordering the Addo Elephant National Park with 360° mountain views. After the devastating fire in 2008 Zuurberg has been reconstructed and the main building totally renovated to a good 4 star level. Guests are accommodated in our newly built East Cape Edwardian styled Cottages; all of which boast high loft ceilings, 2 private verandahs, air conditioning, black wood furnishings and flooring, a full bathroom with indoor and outdoor shower, and much more. Hotel facilities include a swimming pool, tennis courts, children’s playground, walking trails, restaurant and bar. Whilst activities on offer are horse trails, walking trails, game drives into the Addo Park and Elephant Back Safaris.

Adjacent to Hotel Main Building. Original Hotel rooms furnished with genuine antiques, capturing the ambiance of yesteryear. Each with en suite bathrooms and french doors leading to private patios with beautiful garden views.

Zuurberg Village Cottage

Twin bed, Edwardian style garden cottages, en-suite bathroom with under floor heating. Bath, shower and outdoor shower. Each cottage has air-conditioning and has two private verandahs in a garden setting. (King sized beds available on request.)
