Saile Tented Camp is located in the Linyanti private concession, which borders the western boundary of Chobe in the Chobe Enclave. This is an intimate camp with 6 mini-Meru style tents, each of which has en-suite bathroom facilities with flush toilets and al fresco bucket showers. The camp is situated on the sands above the ancient river-bed of the Linyanti, and has exceptional views of the replenished water ways and marsh. A main dining and lounge area is set-up for clients to enjoy their meal-times and relaxing in the heat of the day between activities. Activities consist of game drives, walking and night drives. Mokoro safaris and boating activities can be arranged in advance on special request. Best known for its large populations of Elephant and buffalo, guests may also have close encounters with other popular species such as lion, sable, roan, leopard, wild dog, hippo’s, crocodile, the rare sitatunga antelope and other plains game species. In addition, the area offers spectacular birding year round. The area’s relative remoteness makes it a favored wild safari destination and one of the most sought after areas in Northern Botswana.
