Caprivi River Lodge

From the majestic rivers, rich cultural customs to the vibrant reeds swaying along, the river’s edge is full of life. The Caprivi region is an area steeped in wildlife and tradition and as yet undisturbed by western influences.

With beautiful river views from the wooden lunch deck or from under the shade of old indigenous trees, whether you are a business person, tourist, fisherman or avid bird-watcher, the lodge is the perfect place to chill out and relax. With the numerous National Parks in close proximity; Caprivi River Lodge offers central accommodation enabling easy access to the attractions of this four-countries area with plenty of exciting options to explore.

Rooms

room 1

room 1 is a luxury double room, thatched river facing with air-conditioning and DSTV tv. as with all out rooms there is some wonderful locally carved furniture.
small fridge, kettle and amenities.
the bathroom has a fantastic bath that can take 2, it also has a shower.
there is also a small private deck over the river.

hoopoe room (room 4

this is our newly revamped fairmily room river facing / double bed, single bed and suspended child’s bed. is air conditioned / DSTV tv,
it has a small fridge / kettle and amenities.
as well as the wonderfully carved furniture this room also features a carved door.
this room has a solar hot water heating system.

rooms 2,3,5,6,7 and room 8

these rooms are similar in outlay all are river facing and thatched, rooms 2 and 3 have air-conditioners / the other rooms have ceiling fans. all the thatched chalets remain fairly cool in the hot weather and warm in the cooler winter season / all rooms have showers.
rooms have small fridges / kettles and amenities.

kudu cabin and buffalo cabin

the cabins are wooden cabins with en-suite facilities, small kitchenettes with 2 plate stoves, fridge, kettle and amenities, braai area with table and benches.
both cabins are air-conditioned and have screened stoops.
kudu cabin has a double bed, buffalo cabin has 1 single bed and a bunk bed.
they are not on the river front.
